You don't have to figure it out alone.

You don’t have to figure it out alone.
That’s the short version of what we do at Breathe CrossFit — and it’s something we talk about openly. Whether you’re brand new to fitness, coming back after having a baby, managing an injury, or just struggling to stay consistent, there’s a path forward. And it’s probably not the one you think.
Here’s a look at who we’re actually working with right now, and what that means for you.
Strength Training Is the Answer (More Often Than You Think)
Two of my current clients are women navigating menopause and perimenopause. The research is clear: strength training is one of the most powerful tools available for women during this stage of life. It supports bone density, body composition, metabolic health, and quality of life. But it’s not just about lifting heavy — it’s also about managing the stress load on your body with low-intensity movement and building a sustainable routine.
“Personal training is not just education. It’s not just for beginners who don’t know what to do. I would say 99% of it is accountability.”
This might be the most important thing to understand about personal training. It’s not about learning how to move your body if fitness is a new thing for you — it’s about having a system that makes showing up the path of least resistance. When you have a standing appointment with a coach who’s expecting you, the decision is already made. You just show up.
Working Around Injuries — Not Through Them
One client is working toward a muscle up while managing both wrist and bicep pain. Most people in that situation stop working out entirely. At Breathe CrossFit, we find ways to keep moving — modifying grip positions, adjusting loading angles, and programming around the limitation while the medical side gets addressed. Movement promotes healing. Rest rarely does.
Nurses, shift workers, new parents — people with unpredictable lives need flexibility above all else. Personal training at Breathe CrossFit is available 7 days a week without a fixed time slot, and our Individual Design program gives structure without rigidity. You get a plan, and you do it when life allows.
A 7-month postpartum mom recently came in for her first session. She had been considering personal training because she was afraid group classes would be too advanced for her. The truth? You can walk in having never worked out a day in your life and thrive in a CrossFit class — because every movement is coached and modified. The key is being coachable, not being fit already.
At Breathe CrossFit, we offer group classes, one-on-one personal training, semi-private training (capped at 4 people with individual programming), and our Individual Design program for self-directed athletes who want structure without a fixed schedule. Every new member starts with a free intro — a sit-down conversation where we find the right fit together.
